We are looking for energetic, self-motivated, independent and resourceful research scientist s with excellent people skills, and a desire to further develop their scientific skills whilst collaboratively working across multi-disciplinary project teams .

We are always on the lookout for great talent in this area , if successful you would have the opportunity to within one our multiple categories and contribute to the on-going development and optimisation of product formulations as well as fast-paced market-facing innovation project s!

Main Responsibilities (dependent On Experience And Level)
  • Design and formulation of various products aligned to the category you will support , incorporating new sustainable ingredients.
  • P lanning and executing your own day to day experimental work schedule, compliant with COSHH and GLP disciplines.
  • L eading communication with both internal and external partners to identify and screen new technologies
  • P roduct characterisation studies including rheology, physical/sensory evaluations and storage stability tests where required. You will also work closely with colleagues in processing, consumer understanding and procurement.
  • Data capture compliant with our digital ambition, proactively feeding back on new digital tools as required
  • I nputting into project networks and owning the key R&D activities.

All About Yo u
  • Education to degree level (or equivalent in a physical sciences discipline, preferably with experience in R&D )
  • Practical laboratory formulating experience, data interpretation and experimental design
  • Strong teamwork and evidence of strategic thinking/planning
  • Highly motivated with resourceful problem-solving skills/practical creativity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Digitally savvy - experience in using appropriate software to design complex experiments, create statistical models & capture data ready for re-use
