We are looking for Food Production Operatives

Job Details

  • Pay rate from £10.65 basic up to £13.31 overtime per hour.
  • Carlisle - Gavaghan and Gray CA1 3NQ, Brunel House, Brunel Way.
  • Immediate start.
  • No experience is needed.
  • 4 on 4 off from 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am.
  • Shift allowance - am +£0.25 per hour ; pm +£0.63 per hour ; nights +£1 per hour.
  • Temp to Perm.

Mach Recruitment is recruiting several Food Production Operatives to work in a large food production and distribution site in Carlisle.

The Role

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working within a food production environment and your duties will be as follows:

  • Packing of customer products as per required specification
  • Basic Quality checks of product
  • General production duties
  • Some lifting of product
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
  • To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
  • This is a fast-moving environment, all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with the hygiene regulations at all times
  • General Duties outlined by your shift supervisor

About You

As a Food Production Operative, you will have the following:

  • Start immediately and are looking for long-term work
  • Previous food production experience is not needed
