Job description

We have a long term (permanent) vacancy for a skilled or semi-skilled Fitter to join one of our prestigious clients based in the Bolton area. You will work alongside a member of the team who has 30 years’ experience.

Our client manufactures their own range of products, exclusively and currently sell to approximately 30 countries world-wide.

This role is a exciting, challenging and varied. You will join a team of enthusiastic engineers working for a firm that was set up prior to 1870! You will never be bored! Variety is guaranteed.

The Job:

The job involves assembling and testing press tools that fit on the range of Machinery supplied to our clients industry. You will need:

  • The ability to plan and organise how machined components and standard air fittings and electrics can be integrated to give the optimum performance is the essence of the job.
  • Marking out components
  • Drilling
  • Testing
  • Recording information

Hours of work:

  • Monday - Friday (38 hours per week)
  • Flexible working hours can be offered.
  • 7.30am start time - can work flexible finish times.
