My client is a well-established engineering company are currently seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to join their ever-growing team. You will be covering Devizes and surrounding areas. You will be carry out routine maintenance, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of Fire Extinguishers and associated equipment, complete all appropriate documentation and records to current standards including compiling asset lists. You will also survey new and existing sites to ensure adequacy of portable fire-fighting equipment cover to current standards. My client is seeking someone with working knowledge of Industry specific standards, producing accurate records of work completed via PDA, ensure maintenance visits are completed on time, final commissioning and handover of installation jobs. You will also ensure compliance to all health and safety and quality aspects of the job including paperwork and PDA reports being filled out in a timely manner. My client would also like someone to ideally hold a BAFE qualification. The salary that is on offer for this role is £27k - £30k dependant on experience and qualifications which is based on a 40-hour week. There could also be potential on call and working away from home is also required at times.
