We are working with a forward-thinking and well renowned independent Fire and Security Company operating across the Home Counties and Midlands.

Due to the company’s continued growth, they’re recruiting for an Operations Manager with extensive experience of growing a team and department.

They specialise in driving digital transformation and integration across the life safety, security and communications industry.

The Operations Manager will be a key part of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for the leadership and growth of the Operations Department.

You’ll take on the overall responsibility for the project management and implementation of business operations, as well as the management of the team and processes.

What will you be doing

  • Set the strategic direction for the Department and build systems that encourage growth and improvements
  • Responsible for management of all installation, service and fault works
  • Manage the growth of the Operations Department, including working with HR on recruitment and staff development and mentoring
  • Key in the development, implementation and review of policies and procedures
  • Reviewing and approving invoices

What we’re looking for

You’ll need at least 5 years of experience in an operations management, project management or similar role as well as extensive experience in rolling out operational policies and processes

  • At least 5 years in an operations management, project management or similar role
  • Extensive experience in rolling out operational policies and processes
  • History in field and service-based industries such as: Fire & Security -Electricians -Air con- AV or very similar
  • Strong project management, planning abilities and decision-making skills
  • Valid UK Driver’s licence
