RecruitME is currently recruiting for a FTTH Project Manager in the Melton Mowbray area to work within our clients’ Network Delivery Teams.

We’re working in partnership with a company who are investing over £1bn in their full fibre network and next-generation technology across the East of England and East Midlands.

You’ll sit amongst highly experienced Fibre and Civil Engineering Specialists to programme manage FTTH builds.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the delivery of a quality FTTH network.

The Project Manager will be the point of contact for ensuring appropriate actions are taken with and by contractors whilst carrying out field-based activities.

My client is using next-generation technology to power its multi-gigabit fibre network, supported

by global suppliers including Nokia, Linksys, Fujikura and Salesforce.com.

What you’ll be doing

· Drive the delivery of the build programme, working with stakeholders to deliver on-time, safely and to standard

· Engagement with the Highways Authority, ensuring that statutory legislation is adhered to

· Take commercial ownership for the builds and maintain budgets

· Report into the Build Delivery Director and provide reports on forecasting and progression of the fibre build

What we’re looking for

· Good understanding of fibre-based telecommunications and FTTH network build

· Experience of delivering to pre-defined project schedules

· Subcontractor management/auditing in the field

· Good understanding of wayleaves / Network Access

· Understanding and interpretation of risk assessments & method statements

· Have an awareness of Construction Design Management Regulations Qualifications

· Working knowledge of the Openreach PIA product, standards & rules

· NRSWA accreditation

Salary: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
