Job description

Howdens Joinery are looking for specialist Finishers to join us on a permanent basis at our new site based in Holme Upon Spalding Moor in East Riding of Yorkshire. This a unique opportunity to be part of our new factory operation, Howdens Work Surfaces as we build the site team to produce and manufacture bespoke stone worktops in 2021

As a specialist Finisher your role will involve grinding and polishing quartz worktops to a smooth or lustrous finish, using portable grinding and polishing tools.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience of using Angles Grinders, Water Hoses and Flexes is essential.
  • A keen eye for detail is required to produce quality worktops.
  • Transport required to reach site.

Shift Availability:

  • Rotating Day 6:00am - 2.30pm and Afternoon shift 2:00pm - 10.30pm
  • Night shift – 10pm – 6:00am
