Your New Company

Hays Senior Finance has been exclusively retained by Knox Pharmaceuticals to recruit a Financial Controller to work in their offices in Ripon. Knox Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a UK registered global pharmaceutical wholesaler. They offer a wide range of prescription, non-prescription and other pharmacy related items. They are licensed to supply pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers; both in the UK and overseas.

Your new role

Working with the Managing Director and managing an assistant, this is varied and all-encompassing role where you’ll be responsible for the finances of business. Your role will involve the preparation of management and statutory accounts, you’ll manage the monthly payroll and be responsible for VAT returns. You’ll also be involved in the analysis of profitability and performance, you’ll analyse KPIs as well as providing commercial insight and reporting to drive business decisions and operational efficiencies.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

The successful applicant will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience of managing a finance function. You’ll be a great team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong commercial acumen.
