We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Financial Accountants in London.

At people2people recruitment, we are constantly looking for new talent within the accounting and finance industry.

Position Overview

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager across various financial reporting, compliance, and ledger maintenance tasks. Your expertise in interim audit and end-of-year financial reporting will be instrumental in ensuring the effective management and accountability of the organisation’s financial resources.

Duties and Responsibilites

  • Ensure the integrity of data within the accounting systems for timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations and update weekly Cash Flow Projections.
  • Assist with Interim, Annual budgets, and Forecasting.
  • Support monthly Financial Statements and Management Reports preparation.
  • Assist in Interim and Annual Audit processes.
  • Experience with management accountants.
  • Preparing General Journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Ideal Qualifications and Experience
  • 3+years of UK based financial accounting/managment accounting experience
  • ACCA, ACA, AAT qualified or part-qualified
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
