We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. You will work with other members of our team in the preparation of our annual statutory accounts and report to the Senior Director of Accounting. This will require a detailed knowledge of UK GAAP and working closely with internal stakeholders and our external auditors to deliver fully completed accounts for approval by Teva’s board of directors.

A day in the life of a Financial Accountant…..
- You will prepare and review UK statutory accounts to first class standards, including front-end narrative disclosure requirements
- You will liaise with stakeholders across the business, such as Tax, Corporate Affairs and HR, to collate information required for statutory accounts
- You will prepare clear reconciliations between US GAAP and UK GAAP
- You will prepare additional analyses, such as quality of earnings statements and variance reports, with supporting narrative to explain the financial result for the year and the year-end balance sheet position
- You will prepare supporting information for external audit and working with auditors to deliver fully audited accounts, meeting external reporting deadlines
- You will support the implementation of new ways of working, which will increase automation and streamline the preparation of statutory accounts in the future
Who We Are Looking For
Do you have?
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven track record of preparing or auditing statutory accounts with a thorough knowledge of FRS 102
- A desire to work collaboratively within a close-knit team to support each other and overcome challenges
