We are currently looking for a Tax Manager in our Ridings Point site. Please note that this is not a People Manager role. The Tax Manager will work as an individual contributor to the team reporting directly to the UK Associate Tax Director.


A day in the life of a Tax Manager in Teva...


  • Direct tax compliance oversight for all UK companies, including the preparation of the corporation tax computations for the UK entities.
  • Assist with the US GAAP accounting disclosures and supporting calculations and documentation.
  • Support the statutory accounts reporting team in terms of tax disclosures and audit queries
  • Assist with Transfer pricing; policy development and implementation
  • Support processes to give a clear tax governance process throughout the business, including both SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) and SAO (Senior accounting officer) reporting obligations
  • Corporation tax quarterly payment calculations and liaising with HMRC where required
  • Managing the relationship with HMRC alongside the UK Assoc.Tax Director.
  • Review of the UK Group VAT Returns for submission to HMRC.
  • Providing assistance with ad hoc queries from group members and assisting with any associated HMRC queries.
  • Preparation of share scheme reporting obligations for employment related securities.
  • Preparation of PAYE Settlement agreement calculations yearly.

Qualifications


Do you have...?

  • Previous experience working within similar environments in industry or practice (ACA/CTA qualified).
  • Direct taxes specialism ideally with a broad focus including compliance and advisory
  • Tax accounting/reporting experience under US GAAP and UK GAAP
  • Up to date business tax knowledge

  • Able to solve problems and propose practical solutions, obtaining agreement from stakeholders
  • Strong communicator, able to facilitate the clear and effective communication of tax compliance procedures across the business, and able to communicate with people at all levels in an organisation.
