CMA Recruitment Group are exclusively recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join an established and forward thinking Portsmouth, Hampshire based business.

What will the role involve?
  • Reporting to the Head of Finance the Financial Accountant will play a key role in the production of all external reporting including statutory and regulatory requirements for multiple entities;
  • Control account reconciliations, ensuring best practice;
  • Submission of Corporation Tax and VAT returns;
  • Evolution of internal processes and ensuring reporting accuracy;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Suitable Candidate
  • Applicants for the Financial Accountant role will ideally be practice trained or possess relevant industry experience;
  • Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified with post qualified experience relevant to the role;
  • Able to work both in the detail and at a strategic level;
  • Strong communication skills and able to partner effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
