CMA recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a growing Healthcare business. Reporting to the Financial Controller the Financial Accountant will take on responsibility for all aspects of accounts production and management. They will also deliver KPI reporting and provide business partnering to service managers to attain efficient running of the business services.

The role will support a number of geographical areas and therefore be 100% home based, with a remit to travel London and Manchester 1-2 times a month.

What will the role involve?
  • Produce month end and year end journals.
  • Business partnering service managers.
  • Control account reconciliation, supporting financial forecasting/budgeting and planning.
  • Production of annual budgets, KPI production & analysis.
  • Liaise with budget holders and project managers, providing advice on performance and business case proposals.
  • Supporting the year-end statutory accounts preparation and assistance in management of capital expenditure.
  • Preparation of payment runs and reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Maintenance of sales invoices and deliver regular reports on debtors and creditors with commentary.
Suitable Candidate
  • Candidates will ideally be qualified, studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or qualified by experience.
  • Wide level of financial accounting knowledge and thorough understanding of management information systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
