Our Basingstoke based client is a world leader in their field; innovative, unique and pro-active, providing a work place where you can contribute, progress and grow as part of a collaborative team. Currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant, who will report to the Financial Controller.

This is a brand new role with great visibility across the whole business, partnering with all departments. The Senior Financial Accountant will have responsibility for managing a team and delivering robust financial controls, accounting and reporting.

What will the role involve?
  • Processing and coordinating period end close activities;
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany;
  • Preparation of financial and management reports, ensuring compliance with regulations;
  • Supervise accounting activity across international legal entities;
  • An integral part of the implementation team delivering a new system;
  • Drive best practice and process efficiencies;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax statutory requirements.
Suitable Candidate
  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 3 years+ post qualified experience;
  • Experience of leading and developing a team, ideally within a shared services environment;
  • Experience of working with new finance system implementation and stabilisation;
  • Experience and knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
