CMA Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Financial Accountant on behalf of a growing reputable professional services firm in the Godalming area. This a permanent role working within a friendly, well established team who have been working for the business for a good number of years.

As one of the most respected names in their market for 30 years, our client provides consulting and administrative services for growing entrepreneurial and international businesses, who are looking to expand quickly in new countries. To support this, our client offers an end to back office function, which works in partnership with their client’s in-house teams to provide a seamless increase in capacity.

What will the role involve?
  • Set-up of accounting reporting packs for new clients and review and production of ongoing management accounts;
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts at year-end and VAT returns on a quarterly basis;
  • Production and client guidance on monthly cash flows;
  • Work with and support Auditors during audit period;
  • Provide forecasting when required by clients;
  • Support projects such as overseas accounting compliance research;
  • Approve supplier and employee payment runs on behalf of clients;
  • Review accounts receivable and accounts payable output by offshore team.
Suitable Candidate
  • Ability to produce statutory and management accounts for SMEs;
  • Understanding and ability to produce VAT returns for SMEs;
  • Strong Excel skills – Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
