Financial Accountant / External Reporting Accountant£60,000 + 10% Bonus + Enhanced Pension + Competitive BenefitsHybrid - 2 Days Per Week Office Based - 35 hours pwkSwindonI am currently working in partnership with a dynamic fast paced growing company with huge ambition! Working in a motivated Finance team, you will collectively work to achieve operational objectives and deliver a quality service to all stakeholders.You will be responsible for delivering the organisation and its subsidiaries statutory reporting by playing a pivotal role in the development and delivery of a best-in- class year end, consolidation process and controls within Financial Reporting.About the job:- Responsibility for leading the planning and preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory and regulatory reporting.
  • Responsible for leading on interim audit and providing supporting with pre-year end papers to the Audit Committee
  • Lead tax reporting - quarterly VAT returns, quarterly Corporation Tax estimates & annual Corporation Tax computations prepared by the finance team.
  • Challenge and lead the development of the Financial Reporting Control Framework within external reporting.
  • Provide continuous development of external reporting disclosures.
  • Work closely with Senior Management and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting policy.
  • Identify and deliver continual enhancements to the structure/content of external reporting documents.
  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvement in external reporting
  • Financial modelling month end tasks
  • Multiple projects: finance systems implementation, process & control improvements, business improvement reporting to the wider business.

    • About you:- Qualified Accountant ( ideally ACA / ACCA)
  • Strong financial reporting and technical accounting skills
  • Ideally practice trained with experience of working in a financial reporting role for a mid-large company.
