Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Systems Manager to join Airbus in Filton. You will Join DMFA Accounting and report to the Head of IT Accounting.

Finance is embarking on a major transformation journey involving Information Management solutions to help harmonise our finance approach and consolidate our reporting systems globally. The role will be a significant to the Airbus Finance ERP unification, utilising Advanced Technologies (SAP, S/4 HANA together with SAP Central Finance).

This is a fantastic opportunity to participate and design the "Finance of the Future" for Airbus.

Tasks & Accountabilities

• You will be responsible for driving the following types of projects:
• Airbus Finance ERP convergence road map, generating process harmonization, efficiency gains and new ways of working for Airbus finance.
• Finance deployment to Airbus subsidiaries
• Support Airbus worldwide transformation by extending S/4 Central Finance to Airbus subsidiaries, generating process and compliance harmonization.
• You will have to manage internal and external resources during the projects; represent the projects at steering committees and information sessions, support overall Airbus integration and harmonization.
• You will contribute to evolve our strategy, design our processes and solutions in a very close collaboration with our business stakeholders
• We intend to enable new ways of working and collaboration between business functions and finance and design the data-models and solutions that fit Finance and our internal customer needs.
• We intend to embark on the latest technologies like SAP Group Reporting (New S/4 Consolidation module), RPA, and several others to complement our transactional SAP backbones.
• Leveraging modern approaches to software development (agile, design thinking etc:) will be essential- as data-integrity is key for Finance we also need to ensure stable IM operations for our complex landscape (covering AI and group solutions) and as such also comply and support regular internal and external Audits
• Managing external third party resources to ensure delivery of Technical build & solutions
  
  

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in overall Finance & Controlling modules (Functional and Customizing)
• Strong expertise on SAP Finance modules such as GL / CO / AR and AP experience
• Hands-on experience to lead projects.
• Experience to develop new concepts and technical solutions
• We are looking for someone who will have the ability and gravitas to manage third party contractors in their delivery of technical solutions.
