twentyAI is partnered with a world renowned asset management firm that is looking to bring in someone to head up their finance operations team. With two direct reports you will be responsible for oversight over cost and revenue reporting as well as championing the use of BI and automated solutions to shape the function into a business facing, value add focused team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Direct management of two accountants, focusing on revenue and billings
- Oversight over revenue recognition teams ensuring smooth and accurate reporting
- Business partnering with functions such as FP&A and audit teams to drive reporting efficiency
- Own relationship with 3rd party outsourced AP function and interrogate numbers internally with FP&A to ensure accurate accrual and preypament postings
- You will spearhead the system implementation/automation/BI strategy of the team and help to embed processes and style of working across the function.
Role Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified is highly desired
- Management experience is essential, ideally within asset management
- Revenue accounting experience is essential, again ideally within Asset Management
- Experience designing or implementing automated solutions is very useful to help drive business strategy
- Must be a team orientated individual with desire to mentor and coach more junior individuals
