Teledyne-e2v is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of specialised components and subsystems. These products enable some of the world’s leading OEMs to deliver innovative systems for medical and science, aerospace, defence and industrial and commercial applications.

This role is part of the Teledyne Corporation, managing a Global Shared Service team.. The role oversees the Accounts Payable, Credit Management and Cost Accounting teams based in Chelmsford, UK and Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

What you’ll be doing:

A significant business change program is in progress with three (12 total) remaining business units being migrated to SAP leading to re-organization of back office services. The team provides support to European, North American and Asian businesses within the Teledyne Technologies corporation.

• Manage a global Shared Service finance team with 6 direct reports
• Manage Financial Operations
• Monitoring of and adherence to Sarbanes Oxley controls environment
• Undertake any adhoc duties as required

What we’re looking for in you:

• Experience of managing/working in a Shared Service finance environment would be of great benefit
• Accounting designation preferred
• Demonstrable management experience with global medium-large teams
• Multi-company environment in a manufacturing setting
• SAP experience is desirable
• Familiarity with US GAAP, UK GAAP, SOX
• Willingness to travel (25%)
