On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a Finance Manager for a contract until Dec 2021 based from Home - Fully remote

Purpose of the Role:

Group Finance Support (GFS) is a team of c600 colleagues within the Finance Division providing centralised support and expertise to the rest of Finance and the Business.

The Regulatory Control team within GFS has responsibility for calculating and reporting the Group’s Risk Weighted Assets and other regulatory capital information.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking candidate. The role would suit a finance professional with a track record of success in Financial Reporting roles, with strong communication skills. Experience of Regulatory Reporting is not a requirement, though advantageous. Please note, this vacancy is a secondment opportunity until end of 2021.

As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

The role requires the colleague to support Regulatory Capital Reporting process and associated Data Governance. The position involves co-ordinating the creation of regulatory reports, preparation of robust MI and supporting our divisions through intelligent insight and establishing and maintaining effective relationships across GFS and beyond. The role will also include an element of line management of junior colleagues.

* Support delivery of robust risk weighted reporting MI for internal / external stakeholders within agreed timelines

* Line Management and colleague development (2 people)

* Consolidation and delivery of robust data quality reporting

* Creation and presentation of robust capital MI with added insight

* Establish and build strong relationships with stakeholders including presenting at senior stakeholder meetings up to Director level

* Understand issues as they arise, communicating and facilitating resolution

* Maintain and role-model a robust control environment
* Strong evidence of continuous improvement and efficiencies, pro-actively identifying improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures. Engage with stakeholder teams to understand the wider impact of process changes and ensure a collaborative outcome.

What we require from the candidate:

  • You have a professional finance qualification (or qualified by experience)
  • Data Sets background
  • Background working with regulators - Producing public reports
  • Regulatory controls / Reporting
  • You also have a practical understanding of financial systems and processes with the ability to use and manipulate data and present information to inform business decisions
  • You can plan, organise and prioritise your own and others workload with the ability to identify and implement flexibility in plans when required
  • You have good interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, departments and levels
  • You have the ability to implement change using a confident and collaborative approach

Lloyds Banking Group will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
