An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join the financial management team of the Childrens, Womens and Diagnostics Division. The role is for 24 months fixed term and will support the Pathology Directorate in its strategic partnerships as well with the day-to-day financial management duties.

You will be responsible to the Divisional Business Adviser; the post is key to supporting strategic and financial delivery of NMCPS Pathology Network and its strategic partners. The post-holder will be required to liaise with other organisations/partners and this may require an element of travel. Candidates will work closely with clinical and non-clinical divisional team members as well as the wider finance team to drive positive outcomes.

Successful candidates are required to hold a relevant accounting qualification as well as experience of working in a financial management environment and experience of financial accounting systems and procedures; exposure to finance within the NHS would also be advantageous. Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise their workload and work flexibly to meet tight deadlines are essential.
