Manufacturing Group based in Waterlooville, Hampshire has a newly created requirement for a Finance Manager as a result of continued exceptional growth.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities will include:
  • Production of monthly management accounts including monthly reforecasting, reporting on any variances;
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process, working with non-finance managers in understanding financial performance;
  • Preparation of the annual statutory accounts and returns including VAT and PAYE;
  • Liaising with the external auditors to ensure the timely submission of the annual accounts and tax compliance;
  • Review of existing financial controls, recommending and implementing change where necessary to ensure strong governance and robust processes;
  • Continued development of internal reporting and systems to support future expansion of the business.


Suitable Candidate
  • Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a demonstrable track record of working successfully in a similar position;
  • Strong IT, including advanced Excel, and analytical skills will be essential to undertake this role effectively as will the ability to drive through positive but necessary change.
