CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with our well established client who is based in Poole, Dorset. Due to a period of change in the business, they are looking for Finance Manager to join their busy finance team.

This is an opportunity to join a family run business that values its employees with a great working culture, paying between £32,000 to £38,000 depending on experience and suitability to the requirement.

You will be based in their centrally located Poole office and be a pivotal part of this hands on business.

What will the role involve?
  • Working closely with and reporting into the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will be the most senior member of the team;
  • Overseeing a small team and ensuring all ledgers are up to date in preparation for month end;
  • You will have the opportunity to improve processes and efficiencies within this finance function;
  • As the senior member of this team, you will be responsible for payment run sign off and any escalated queries;
  • Month end reconciliation work and quarterly VAT returns responsibilities.
Suitable Candidate
  • Practical and hands on experience overseeing transactional finance including purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations;
  • Our client is open to qualification, it’s essential that applicants have a desire to forge their career in the above role;
  • Previous high volume background is advantageous, able to get the most out of people in a team environment;
  • Ideally you will be happy to work in a smaller, family run business and be prepared to hands on.
