Here at Draexlmaier we are delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Controller to act as the primary point of contact for Senior Leadership on all aspects of Accounts.

Reporting into the Head of Finance and being key figure of the UK Finance Team Team you will have an influential role within the dynamic, process driven, fast-paced business. Fundamentally your key responsibilities will be the day to day management of all finance related aspects such as:

  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial planning
  • Provision of day to day financial support to Plant Management Team
  • Monthly investment reporting and planned investment reporting
  • Headcount planning
  • Submission and explanation of results via internal Plant Profitability System
  • Liaising with the Accounting team to provide accruals for monthly reporting
  • Review of monthly results with Accounting Team
  • Review and sign off of all plant expenditure
  • KPI Reporting
  • Other ad hoc tasks

Skills and experience required:

  • ACMA or ACCA preferred
  • Experience in accounting/management accounting/business partnering
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Process-oriented thinking
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • An ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexible in approach to work

The base location of this role is Tamworth. Whilst at present there is a high level of home working, moving forward an on-site presence will be required. Our UK sites are located in Tamworth, Solihull and Stoneleigh (Warwickshire). Once permitted, occasional travel to our Head Office in Germany or other European locations may also be required.
