An opportunity has arisen to join our one of our finance functions in the business as a Finance Business Partner (Projects), working closely with our Finance Director this role will be integral in supporting the implementation of financial improvement initiatives projects utilising your experience to ensure existing processes and ideas are challenged and that solutions drive improvements in both process and business performance.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Partner with the business team leads in these projects ensuring all are working towards the common goals.
  • Explore and analyse existing/new data to extract valuable insights; work with data source owners and technology to ensure that key data is accurate, automated, and timely.
  • Be a key enabler for digital transformation and streamlining of legacy processes.
  • Work closely with the existing FBPs who provide first line support on financial and KPI reporting, forecasting, budgeting, planning, and analysis.

Candidate requirements:

  • Part of Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), or qualified by experience
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Commercially astute with a passion for data and analysis
  • Initiative-taking, and able to work under time pressures
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills to manage competing demands and priorities
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Previous FMCG experience is advantageous but not essential.

Hours of work:40 hours per week Monday to Friday
