Finance Assistant- Purchase & Expenditure

Permanent, Full time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: £22,113 rising to £22,469 per annum, (Professional Services Grade 3 and 3a)

Campus: Trowbridge, Wiltshire

About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant - Purchase & Expenditure to join our Finance Department based at the Trowbridge campus.

Within the role you will be responsible for processing of supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, resolving queries and preparing payment runs. You will also assist with month-end tasks and preparing accruals and prepayments. You will work closely with other members of the finance team and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

About You

You will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • An AAT qualification or equivalent or a willingness to work towards one.
