Job content

When you hear the words ’four-stroke engine’ what do you feel? If it makes you want to pick up a tool and get your hands dirty then this may be the job for you.

You would be working as a Field Service Technician within a business which generates green energy from landfill gases. We all know that Green Energy is the future, and is a sector which has been booming even during the current crisis.

Your job would focus on the maintenance of large Jenbacher engines across several sites mainly clustered between Bicester, Didcot and Beaconsfield. You will be joining a team who are supportive and always ready to help each other, although you’ll have a lot of autonomy on a day-to-day basis.

You would be working for a business which is large enough to offer you a career, rather than just a job. But they are also small enough that the CEO will know your name. so this is a place where if you perform well you will be recognised and rewarded for it.

Your role will be focused on scheduled servicing, with only an element of reactive maintenance, so this is a Monday-to-Friday days based role with no call-out rota. Your travel is expensed, your vehicle, tools and workwear are supplied and you will receive quarterly and annual bonuses on top of your normal wage. The salary is £25,000 - £33,000 depending on experience + up to 15% bonus.

If you’re mechanically-minded, self-motivated and believe you can make a difference then please apply for more info
