Field Service Engineer West Midlands area Salary: £26,242 OTE £30k - £35k Full time - Working a basic week of 42.5 hours, primarily Monday to Friday but some overtime and working away will be required MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Field Service Engineer To carry out planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and planned repairs to disabled access equipment in client’s homes/property. Field based role, reporting via telephone, handheld terminal, paperwork, and review meetings. Essential: Field Service Engineer Dynamic self-starter, presentable, clear communicator (verbal & written), full UK driving license, good electro-mechanical skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Field Service Engineer Based from home attending sites within your region you will have a salaried position, will be paid “door to door” with overtime opportunities
  • Understanding wiring schematics to aid with installation.
  • Carry out the installation and in accordance with safe working practices.
  • To carry out daily programme of planned service work and repair visits.
  • To respond to breakdown calls and participate in providing coverage out of hours on a rota.
  • To organise and store spare parts within vehicle, maintain stock levels by reordering parts from Head Office.
  • Attend emergency call outs on a rota basis.
  • To submit field reports and other paperwork each week to Head Office.
  • To assist the Service Manager with all reasonable requests to promote growth and efficiency of the Company and the Service Department. Our Ideal Candidate:
