Field based Collections Agent - Sheffield

£22,282 to £30,000 ote

Job Purpose

The Field Based Collections Agent is responsible for visiting residential and commercial customers within a regional area for the purpose of debt resolution, collecting payments, securing payment arrangements, making contact visits and various other field based calls.

Primary Accountabilities And Deliverable/ Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Visits to customers’ properties on a daily/weekly basis to the guidelines agreed with clients
  • Discuss accounts with customers who have fallen into arrears in their payments to our clients and negotiate repayment solutions
  • Ensure all visits are completed accurately
  • Submit all customer payments into the office in accordance with Company Procedure
  • Complete and return all warrant paperwork into office in accordance with Company procedure where appropriate
  • Achieve targets set by Field Manager and comply with quality guidelines
  • The ability to negotiate, handle objections and remain calm under pressure
  • To be able to demonstrate effective planning, time management and organisational skills
  • The capability to manage your own performance and support others
  • To consistently identify the best solution to problems quick and accurately
Working Relationships & Interfaces/Relevant Qualifications:
  • Driving Licence and own vehicle
  • Excellent Organisational skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office
