Fibre Splicing Engineer - Chesterfield - Immediate start - £150 - £220 per day

Staffing Solutions Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fibre Splicing Engineer for immediate start.

The Successful Fibre Splicing Engineer will be working on the road covering locatuons between Chesterfield and Cheltenham, so must be located anywhere between these areas, and be able to commute within the region on a daily basis.

The Fibre Splicing Engineer will be responsible for the installation and splicing of Fibre Optic Cable throughout the UK, efficiently and safely, ensuring that all safety aspects of your role are adhered to.

Main duties of the role will be:

• Installation and splicing of cables
• Fibre handling and testing
• Interpreting site documentation and installing equipment in line with the specification
• Completing relevant documentation and site reports

Skills / Experience required

• Previous Telecom experience and a good understanding of the Fibre Optic Network
• Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients
• Manual Handling
• N23 Accreditation
• SA001 / SA002 / SA007
• Hold a valid NRSWA Street works Operative Licence Unit 2
• Full Driving Licence
