Capital Outsourcing Group specialise in recruiting within the Telecommunications Industry and has been providing engineering resources for over 10 years.

Working alongside multiple industry recognised Clients, we are currently looking for the very best talent.

We are currently recruiting for Fibre Cablers/Test, Rod & Rope Cablers.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending sites and providing overhead and underground copper and fibre cabling.
  • Installation of Blown Fibre Tubing (BFT) and blowing Fibre
  • Initial Test rod and rope of Underground cable routes.
  • Working with the wider engineering community to provide full Fibre connectivity to residential and business customers.
  • Working at heights and in the UG network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation.
  • Working as a part of team to achieve daily, weekly targets and KPI’s.

You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence
  • Hold a valid NRSWA street works operative unit 2 (minimum qualification)
  • Hold or have held the following Openreach overhead and underground cabling accreditation modules.
  • K8 Test Rod and Rope
  • N27 Overhead Cabling
  • N28 UG Cabling
  • Have extensive experience of working on the Openreach network.
  • Hold the Network Operators Passport Scheme Card “NOPS”
  • Confident working at heights
  • Excellent communication skills
