Eversfield Organic is looking for Sales and Hospitality Assistants to create a wonderful shopping experience in our Marlborough farm shop. As one of our Sales Assistants, you’ll ensure the smooth running of our shop and cafe, selling a wide range of organic meat, charcuterie and cheese, organic dairy, fresh fruit and vegetables, store cupboard staples, freshly baked bread & drinks. With a passion for customer service, you’ll be the one to create a foodie destination to make Marlborough proud.

Our top priority is creating a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. In order to achieve this we are looking for people passionate about customer service, ready to greet, advise and assist customers as they navigate the shop and our product range.

Whether introducing a new product range, telling the story of our family farm, or explaining organic standards when it comes to animal welfare – we are looking for someone perceptive, engaging and with a strong eye for detail.

The candidate should understand the importance of the role in generating sales and be comfortable upselling and making recommendations.

A keen interest in food and sustainability would be an advantage along with a passion for organic produce!

You’ll be a positive personality ready to be the face of our company in our local community.

Responsibilities include:

· Providing excellent customer service from the moment a customer enters the shop

· Maintaining a professional attitude at all times while front of house

· Serve customers on deli counters, till and coffee bar

· Advise customers on in a positive an engaging manner

· Keep the shop clean and tidy and all products kept orderly

· Stock replenishment and stock takes

· Assist the General Manager in all tasks

· Help implement and promote seasonal promotions and product offers

Please let us know if you have barista skills, this is not essential but is desired.

We are recruiting for a full time role, which will likely include at least one day each weekend. We believe that two consecutive days off is good for the soul, so wherever possible we will rota as such.

Flexibility is expected, especially during peak trading periods such as Christmas.
