F.G.Jeanes is based at the foothills of the Quantocks, 10 miles from Taunton and 7 from Bridgwater. We grow a variety of crops for an AD plant and beef cattle (grass, maize, hybrid/forgae rye and wheat).

Responsibilities:

- To operate a modern tractors (Fendt and John Deere) as part of a cultivation/drilling team and support other field and farm operations across the business. The role will also involve supporting the business diversification projects such as a wedding venue, commercial units and a caravan park.
- Operate power tools and machinery to complete assigned tasks
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Assist in the operation of heavy equipment for various tasks

Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in operating power tools and machinery
- PA 1 and PA 2 and telehandler licence

- Sound experience with precision farming techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Experience ofoperating heavy equipment

Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour
