The Farm Liaison Officer is to ensure that all liquids recycled to land by N-Virocycle, are done so under Environmental Permitting Regulations 2010 applicable to the Agricultural & Industrial Waste Recycling industry.
· Identify suitable and sufficient land within the company operating area to maintain the company field site operations
· Using account management skills you shall be in regular communication (written and verbal) with current, potential and regular landowners leading them through the process whilst building a long term relationship to ensure business growth
· On identifying land you will present the company products and promote the benefits of recycling waste to land backed up with technical data and local farmer case studies, gain approval from the landowner
· Once the land is secured you shall obtain samples of the soil for independent analysis, you will carry out risk assessments and a full site survey to prepare all details so that the deployments are accurately submitted
· On receiving the results of the soil survey you shall prepare an estimate of waste volumes for the site based on area, soil analysis and crop requirements so that the deployment information is accurately submitted
· On receiving certification from the Environment Agency (EA) the Farm Liaison Officer shall prepare the necessary field operators sheets and walk the site with the Field Operator prior to spreading operations
· After completion of the recycling operations you shall walk the site and prepare the final results for the landowner and leave a report of volumes and benefit and sign off the site
· Oversee and liaise with the Field Operatives and Drivers to ensure that all operations run as efficiently as possible providing assistance where necessary
· Exercise the Code of Good Agricultural Practice (COGAP) & an understanding of the Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) policy
· Seek and advise upon possible improvement in all areas of the recycling operation
· Ensure that the reputation of N-Virocycle is upheld to the highest possible standard
· All duties to be completed in-line with N-Virocycle policies and procedures as laid out in the Company Management System PAS99:2012
· Any other reasonable duties
