Farm Foreman | Agriculture | £DOE
Full pay for three months but no work? Yes, that’s really what you get!
What will I be doing?
Want to join a business that means becoming an integral part of a dynamic team crafting a local and global success story. You will be responsible for managing the irrigation, pruning and crop husbandry of the cherry farm. Along with minor machinery maintenance and being responsible for farm safety.
It’s hard work for 9 months with some weekend work but this is then rewarded with 3 months off in the low season along with additional holiday, pension and no weekends in the low season!
Who for?
The business is at the beating heart of an international fruit production, packing, and exporting enterprise fuelled by an unwavering passion for cherries. They cultivate cherries across six countries spanning four continents, uniting the world through the luscious taste of our produce. This is their only UK based cherry farm! A small 16 acre farm where you will play a pivotal part.
What do I need?
A good strong work ethic, with a passion for working outside! You don’t need to have cherry experience just a willingness to learn. PA1 and PA2 would be brilliant but if not, don’t be put off, this is something they’ll help you to obtain.
