Are you an experienced in working with children and adults? Do you hold a minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Childcare or a relevant subject? Do you have a passion for supporting local families in need? If so this role could be for you, read on to find out more.
Job purpose: To provide family support services within the Family Centre reach area. This could be at a number of locations which would include the Family Centre, out in the community or in service users’ own homes. All services provided will support the delivery of the Family Centre Core Offer and aim to enable children to achieve.
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm (with 30 minutes for lunch)
Location: based from YMCA Horley Family Centre
Salary / pay rate: £24,710 FTE (£21,179 per annum for a 30 hour week)
Annual leave: Four weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
Benefits: The post holder will be entitled to free use of the YMCA East Surrey fitness centre in Redhill and half price YMCA childcare for dependents. There is free parking available at the Old Fire Station and other YMCA East Surrey sites. YMCA East Surrey also operates a Bike to Work Scheme.
