Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the Peterlee area has a great opportunity available for a Janitor / Factory Cleaning Operative to work within their Environmental Team on a full time basis, under a 3 shift pattern (mornings / afternoons / nights).

The role will be to provide efficient and effective janitorial support across the factory, covering all aspects environmental cleaning and recycling.

Main Duties will include (but are not limited to)
  • Waste Disposal in line with Health & Safety and environmental standards
  • Recycling including waste distribution to meet environmental targets
  • Responsible for maintaining and cleaning communal areas (canteen, toilets)
  • Responsible for maintaining clean and clear walk ways by using the Buffer Machines to clear any spills
  • Fogging of COVID risk areas
  • Cleaning all machines and plant equipment
Their Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience of working in a janitorial or cleaning role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
