RMS are proudly recruiting for a Tier one automotive manafacturer who are looking to recruit a Procurement Contoller to join a dynamic forward thinking team.

The role is initally on a twelve month contract with the opportunity for this to go permanent for the right person.

Main Responsibilities Include But Aren’t Exclusive To-
  • Confirm, Generate & Expedite orders of rings, grease & components from 9 direct material suppliers (248 items) on a daily, weekly & monthly cycle.
  • Organise & coordinate deliveries with suppliers, forwarding agents & internal material handling to meet production schedules.
  • Work within the procurement team who manage an inventory value circa €16,000k to achieve plant Stockturn targets
  • Daily monitoring of stock availability Vs production schedule to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Develop supplier liaison
  • Conduct & apply clear, concise & appropriate communication skills & to conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • All aspects of operational procurement administration needs (KPI’s, presentations, tracking documents SPI’s & so on)
Qualifications

Qualified to ’A’ level standard

CIPS Level 3

Skills & Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Procurement
  • Self-motivated
  • Good interpersonal skills to work within cross functional teams
  • A drive for results
  • Knowledge of MRP systems
  • Good knowledge of the use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Clear, concise & appropriate communication skills
