CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Facilities Supervisor to be based in London.

Role Summary:

  • Supervise a team of Logistics Operatives, ensuring that all daily tasks are completed as per KPI’s and/or SLA’s
  • Define and review performance goals/objectives and carry out half & full year performance reviews in line with CBRE procedures
  • Ensures that all Health & Safety training and records for the same are accurately maintained; Follow up with team members to ensure that, all mandatory training is completed within the defined timelines
  • Carry out regular analysis of gaps in operative’s skill sets and arrange necessary training to close any gaps identified
  • Carry out daily risk inspections of the loading bay and report any potential risks, as well as actioning their rectification
  • Management of contractor plant & materials holding area, ensuring it is kept clean & safe, and that items held there do not pose any risk to people or the building
  • Lead toolbox talks with the team to ensure compliance with all procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a stand in for the Logistics Manager, when necessary

Logistics Supervision
  • Daily supervision of all inbound deliveries/collections via Zone Manger
  • Ensure all vehicles arriving in the loading bay, are correctly managed
  • Supervision and follow up of the delivery of client mail & parcels, confirming that all deliveries have been successfully completed in line with documented procedures
  • Registration of inbound receipts from GS off-site mail room, ensuring chain of custody records are correctly maintained
  • Confirming that the closing off of chain of custody deliveries is completed as per procedure at the end of day
  • Confirm that all daily tasks are completed without issue
  • Resolve any issues related to daily activities or team members effectively
  • Leads all team toolbox talks
  • Participates in the development of training plans based on needs analysis, for each team member
  • Provides direct training for all operative on any in-house systems, ensuring that all operatives are fully competent in their use
  • Carries out mid & full year evaluations of performance
  • Escalates any disciplinary issues up to the Logistics Manager, and provides direct input on any follow up disciplinary actions
  • Carries out 3x per week site inspection utilising an inspection check list, and confirms no H&S risks are present in the working area
  • Actions any risks found from H&S checks, immediately with the relevant team for resolution
  • Follows up on any H&S check actions, to ensure any identified risks are mitigated efficiently
  • Supports the development and implementation/reporting of KPI’s
