Facilities Operative with Plumbing Skills

As a world-leading producer of peristaltic pumps and tubing we are experiencing rapid growth. Currently, we have two sites in Falmouth: our manufacturing facility and Pendennis Court, both along Bickland Water Road, plus our new Innovation Centre and Logistics Hub on the Cardrew Industrial Park. It all requires maintaining, improving and, most important in line with our core values, we need to ensure a safe working environment in which people can thrive.

Our growing facilities team has a permanent vacancy for a new operative – one with plumbing experience to complement the team’s existing skill set. Reporting to a team leader, you will ensure that appropriate repairs or improvements are undertaken to a high standard and in timely fashion.

It’s a friendly, collaborative, customer-focused team who understand the need to work to our core values and strive to deliver excellent service to internal and external customers – and they finish early on Fridays.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications:

• 
  A minimum of Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing, or equivalent

Experience:

• 
  Property maintenance experience essential; it would be advantageous if this was in an industrial setting
• Plumbing experience
  
• Confident in ’customer-facing’ situations

Behaviours:

•

• Safety conscious and confident in ensuring that others follow this core value
  
• Effective communicator, able to convey clear instructions to all levels of employees and external contractors
