This role will focus on:

Customer focus and collaboration is at the heart of our Applications Engineering team. It’s their mission to realise our customer’s individual technical needs by creating novel and bespoke engineered solutions. You will have the pleasure of working with Watson-Marlow’s full range of products, representing the needs of our customers in the factory in order to develop and deliver their vision.

With quick project turnaround times you will enjoy a really varied and fast-paced role.

Day-to-day you be responsible for:

• Designing, specifying and sourcing non-standard components

• Producing and amending 2D and 3D CAD models

• Understanding customer needs and working with the Applications team to offer sound technical and application advice

• Assessing commercial viability, pricing and product lead-times

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 
  A degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or similar related subject.

• Previous experience working in an engineering and/or customer facing role.

• Some experience using 2D or 3D CAD software.

• The resilience to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.

• The foresight to put customer focus at the centre of your work.
