Facilities Manager - Scotland

Summary & Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Facilities Manager to lead and manage the maintenance and operations of two commercial sites in Scotland. The role will be split between the 2 sites which are located in Glasgow & Edinburgh.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the properties are in compliance with company and client standards and policies, and delivering a compliant and resilient service while delighting customers. The role includes ownership of the planned and reactive maintenance, drive operations and service to budget and providing leadership and direction to the team.

Responsibilities:

Drive operations and service to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all key management strategies.

Implement and maintain scope of works, PPM schedules, and relevant data collection from contractors.
Provide leadership and direction, including conducting annual performance reviews, regular 1-on-1s, and team meetings.

Effectively use MI reports to understand and manage the business, assess individual results and develop specific actions related to building management and client satisfaction.

Address trends of underperformance with clear and documented performance improvement plans.
Foster customer engagement and loyalty through quality, ideas, acknowledgment, and inspiration.

Set high expectations for results and hold the contract maintenance team accountable to measurable KPI scores.

Ensure operations are delivered in line with company accreditation requirements (ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001)

Ensure full compliance with company operational platforms and HSE and statutory requirements.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management and relevant qualifications in the field.
