We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced External Training Partnership Manager to join our passionate, friendly and successful Operational Development team in the UK. This is a national role, with travel around the UK as and when required.

This fixed term contract position is well suited to an individual that is proactive and ambitious, with an excellent understanding of external training providers who is looking to advance their career in the professional/organisational development sector and gain industry-leading experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

What will you be doing?

You will ensure that all training and development delivered by external providers meets our quality assurance framework and service level agreements so that our people receive an excellent and innovative learning experience which develops both the individual, and supports the business need.

Reporting directly to the Quality Delivery Manager, you will work closely alongside the Service Delivery Manager, Apprenticeship Advisor and Technical Advisor to source and manage providers to deliver engaging, inspiring and effective development.

You will get to shape the content of our courses and programmes so they are employer led and meet our business requirements. And by collating, evaluating and supporting the use of stakeholder feedback, you will have a passion to drive improvements across the external providers we work with.

What are we looking for?

You will have the ability to engage, negotiate and influence others, including experience in effective stakeholder management with multiple parties and used to carrying out formal observations, giving high quality developmental feedback.

A track record of leading or contributing to improved learning outcomes is advantageous, with training and delivery experience and familiarity with blended approaches to learning also useful.

Being able to use data to aid decision making and working under your own initiative to solve problems are also key to this role.

Having either an Award in Education & Training (Level 3) or CIPD qualified, (Level 3) or above Level 3 Business Administration TAQA Level 4 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
