Experienced *Female Team Leader required for a 47-year-old lady who has an acquired brain injury and mental health illness living in the Stourbridge area. The role will involve supporting our client with psychiatric and psychology strategies and administering/monitoring her medication. To be active in continuing with assistance in developing the clients independence, supporting with her behavioural management, functional skills, working with her therapy team and therapy programmes, support /care planning and activities in the community. You will need to be flexible for a variety of shifts and able to work weekends. You will be expected to be able to cover additional shifts if required and provide on call support. This is an exciting and challenging role. We seek a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic person with proven leadership skills. You should be very adaptable to changes and able to deal with challenges. This must be your main and only job role due to Covid-19. It is essential that you share some of our client’s interest in nature, conservation, classical music, yoga, dance, poetry, arts and crafts and mindfulness/meditation. This is 2-1 care and you will be supervising/supporting a small team of experienced rehabilitation support workers. Working hours: 36 hours per week, to include days, evenings, weekends and occasional nights. Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible and has had previous experience as a team leader. You must have experience of acquired brain injury and mental health background and good management of challenging behaviour. A full driving licence is essential as the client has their own vehicle. Rates of pay £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £20.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday. An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training. All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided.
