Office angels are collaborating with a prestigious client to find a Temporary Invigilator for the Dunfermline area. This role is for Friday 15th August starting at 12:30pm for 4 hours at £11 per hour.

About The Role

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of examinations and assessments within the organisation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to earn extra income on a short-term basis while contributing to the integrity of our examination process. Your responsibilities will primarily involve supervising test-takers, maintaining a controlled testing environment, and upholding the rules and regulations of the examination. All information regarding rules, safety information surrounding the exam will be given and explained fully before starting the role.

Duties
  • Prepare and arrange the examination room for the candidates
  • Make sure that all candidates are seated according to the seating plan
  • Tell the candidates they must now follow the rules of the examination
  • Check that the candidates have all the correct materials for the examination
  • Tell candidates about emergency procedures
  • Specify the time allowed
  • Remind candidates that they are not allowed to communicate in any way with, ask for help from, or give help to any other candidate while they are in the exam room
  • Supervise the candidates while throughout the whole exam and give complete attention to this at all times.
  • Be diligent to make sure there is no cheating, to answer any queries or to deal with anyone who could be unwell
  • Record any irregularities
  • Move around the exam room quietly and at frequent intervals
