About the role: Our new Evidence & Research Manager will be at the forefront in continuing the development of an evidence base to articulate the importance of parent voice to policy makers, funders and the public, while also playing a key role in charting our path forward as a research-driven organisation. Drawing upon a strong combination of both qualitative and quantitative experience, this role will develop high quality research, analytical, design and reporting, ensuring the successful management and delivery of our research projects, whilst driving forward existing and potential new opportunities to expand our research portfolio and secure new partnerships. About you: To succeed in this role you will have first class research and analysis skills, together with great writing skills to create robust reports that credibly inform our policy and programmes work.You will have a passion for parental participation and the ability to frame research that can clearly explain why relationships with parents matter in education, as well as the ambition to develop our research portfolio further in this area. You will have a strong background in research with a particular focus on quantitative methodologies and be comfortable with data, statistics and other evidence: stakeholder management, public affairs experience and strong communications skills will be essential in building effective relationships with internal and external audiences. This brings a complexity that requires a sharp mind and great attention to detail. Being willing to learn, adapt to a dynamic environment in which priorities can quickly change and thrive in a team environment is essential.
