Abingdon School have an exciting opportunity for an Evening Receptionist to join the team at Tilsley Park.

Location: Tilsley Park, Abingdon

Salary: £6,086 per annum (£20,287 FTE) with a 2% increase due from September 2021

Job Type: Part Time

Hours: 5.30pm - 8.30pm, Monday - Thursday evenings.

Evening Receptionist - The Role

Tilsley Park has an extensive range of outdoor sports pitches and spinning classes and we are seeking to appoint an efficient and personable Receptionist to work four evenings per week.

Evening Receptionist - Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will deliver an excellent service to our customers by:
  • Answering the telephone
  • Providing customer information
  • Handling transactions
  • Managing customer access
  • Responding to sales enquiries and converting them into sales
  • Providing administration support
Evening Receptionist - You
  • Experience of dealing with routine administration
  • Experience of dealing with customers
  • Ability to effectively promote and ‘sell’ the service and Centre
  • Ability to deal with customers and their queries and concerns with tact and sensitivity
  • IT literate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver a high-quality service
  • Ability to operate an electronic booking system
  • Committed to service excellence
  • Displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
  • Values and respects the views and needs of children and young people
