If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Estimator role.This role is full time, working 37 hours per week based between our modern head office in Birkenhead, but also with an element of hybrid working and site presence.The Estimator reports directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and will be responsible for providing day to day support to the Senior Estimator and will deputise for the Senior Estimator on occasion. The overall purpose of the role will be to prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analysing important metrics. You will provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. You must also be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons.Salary: £37,173Estimator RequirementsWe are looking for someone with proven experience as an estimator or similar position, with familiarity of NATFED pricing documents, SPONS and BCIS and financial and project management principles. In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas. Exquisite math and IT ability with an analytical mindset. Proficient in relevant software (Microsoft Office), Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities. Thoroughness and reliability & excellent organizational skills.Estimator Benefits
