Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

My client, a well known print & production company are recruiting an Estimator to join their team to assist in generating proces for their projects.

You will be responsible for reviewing tender documents, analysing job requirements, and estimating project costs. This role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to learn and understand the requirements of the estimating process.

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents and understanding project requirements.

Generate accurate and timely cost estimates for each project.

Communicate with various stakeholders within the business, including sales and production teams.

Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain pricing information.

Consider costs for large-scale projects.

Analyse and compare costs for suppliers and vendors.

Use Excel and other software tools to manage and analyse data.

Prepare and submit proposals to clients.

Track project costs and ensure that they align with estimates.

Ensure that all estimating information is accurate and up-to-date.

Make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements

At least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the print industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Highly organised with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to review large quantities of information.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Excel and other software tools.

Understanding of project management methodologies.
