Job ProfileEstimating Engineer required for my client based in Bradford.The successful engineer will estimate ventilation, air conditioning and general HVAC projects.Estimating Engineer Position Overview
  • Reading & interpreting project specifications, schedules & drawings
  • Liaison with client to finalise design
  • Following up quotes with customers
  • Use of component & design / selection software
  • Review & handover of project at order stage to Project Engineer
  • Cost analysis and value engineering of products to provide competitive advantage.
  • Use of take-off and estimating software (Ensign)
  • Cad skills an advantage
Estimating Engineer Position Requirements
  • Previous experience of estimating systems in the HVAC market essential.
  • Good product knowledge.
  • Commercially minded to put best price together with a view to winning work.
  • Client communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Conscientious approach to production of drawing.
  • Scheduling and time management skills.
  • Good time keeping.
  • May need to travel to site from time to time, expenses will be covered.
  • Commutable distance of Bradford.
  • Full UK Driving License.
Estimating Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary - dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications
  • Full time position - Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
  • 28 days holiday package - including bank holidays
  • Onsite parking and healthcare scheme
  • Company pension scheme
